Few men will ever match the legacy forged by Steven Gerrard at Liverpool FC. The only player in Reds history to feature in the club's all-time top five for both appearances and goals, the talismanic midfielder clocked up an astonishing 710 games and found the target 186 times.

At club level Rush played for Liverpool from 1980–1987 and 1988–1996. He is the club's all-time leading goalscorer, having scored a total of 346 goals in all competitions at the club, including a record 25 goals versus Merseyside derby rival Everton.

Barnes scored 15 league goals in his first season at Anfield, second only to John Aldridge at the club. He was voted overwhelmingly PFA Player of the Year. He also collected a league title medal, as Liverpool finished champions with just two league defeats all season.

Fowler is best remembered for his time at Liverpool and is the sixth-highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League. He scored 183 goals in total for Liverpool and earned the nickname "God" from the Anfield crowd, becoming a club legend due to his ruthlessness in front of goal.
