Take home this original ball of the Final Four 2017, played in Istanbul, signed by the Final Four Legends.

The seventeenth edition of the EuroLeague finals saw the Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul, Real Madrid, Olympiacos Piraeus and CSKA Moscow teams competing for the first place with Fenerbahce taking it, to become the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four Champion.

Fenerbahce defeated Olympiacos 80-64 in the championship game at Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul and became the first Turkish club to win the competition.

The ball was signed by the Final Four Legends Theodoros Papaloukas, Mirsad Turkcan, Ibrahim Kutluay, Patrick Femerling, Matjaz Smodis, Joe Arlauckas, Michalis Kakiouzis and Ermal Kuqo.

The Cause

One Team is Euroleague Basketball’s community program that uses basketball as a tool to empower those living at risk of exclusion and ensure they have the life skills to better integrate into society. All 40 clubs from Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup deliver One Team in their communities, tailoring the program to address the most prevalent social integration issues in their local area.

Examples of some groups that the clubs work with include migrants and displaced people, those with physical or intellectual disabilities, girls who are facing inequality, young people detained in prison and those trying to recover from a history of substance – all using the power of basketball to improve lives. A common methodology, devised by Euroleague Basketball with support from a number of leading NGOs, is shared across an entire continent to ensure the right people, processes, tools and structures are in place for sport to be a powerful force for development and social change. Since starting in 2012, One Team has reached over 14000 participants through its various team projects.
