Take home this AS Roma shirt worn by Henrikh Mkhitaryan for a Napoli-Roma match played on the 30th matchday of the Serie A 2019/2020 championship.

The game was played at the Stadio San Paolo on July 5, 2020 and ended in 2-1.

This shirt features a special “Black lives matter – Assieme” as a symbol of the Club's commitment to the fight against racism following recent events that have rocked America.

Proceeds from this auction will go to support the Roma Cares activities to fight racism among young people.

The shirt is sent without any particular fastening system, complete with a numbered collector's frame, handmade by Sateco in unfinished Ayous wood and transparent perspex with four through-holes for hanging with screw fixtures. Laser engraving of logo and certification number on front.

The Cause

The killing of George Floyd, an unarmed black man in Minneapolis, sparked protests all over the world, with hundreds of thousands of people marching against racism.

In Rome, Paulo Fonseca and his players all took a knee before training at Trigoria to show their support for Black Lives Matter.

Now, for the remainder of the Serie A season, the AS Roma team are wearing a special patch on their left sleeve which features the words ‘Black Lives Matter’ along with ‘ASSIEME’ – meaning Together, the campaign Roma Cares launched during the Covid-19 crisis.

The team will wear the patch for a total of 12 Serie A games.

The club is auctioning off match-worn shirts, featuring the Black Lives Matter / ASSIEME patch, to raise money for a number of prominent anti-racism organisations as well as for Roma Cares, in order to help develop new club-run, anti-racist initiatives with children in Italy.
