Win this exclusive maxi cushion by Stefano Epis.

Limited to only 30 cushions, Stefano Epis and POMODONE® collaborated to create the pieces. The cushion is made of waterproof fabric, innovative fiber, 100% polyester sailcloth and is a digital print with dimensions 175x135 cm.

Comfortable and ideal for relaxing at home, in the garden, at the sea, and even in the snow. It molds itself to the body and can be used as a sunbed, chair and bed.

Stefano Epis is an artist and eclectic graphic designer who lives his contemporary art, continuously seeking out new elements, such as typography. In 2010, he created a fun, rational and irreverent way of exposing his soul, a sort of burlesque ID Card, “Ri-Tratto”. It is a world where typographical elements are matched with a perfect balance of colors and shapes. In his Milan workshop, Stefano Epis interprets elegant furnishing elements that blend with the atmosphere and adds liveliness through color, symbols, and plays on words.

The Cause

Mani Tese is an Italian development NGO operating at the national and international levels to further justice, solidarity, promotion of human rights and respect among people. Since its foundation in 1964, Mani Tese has pursued this aim by raising public awareness of the causes of poverty in the South, lobbying policy makers and institutions and implementing development projects which, beside responding to the needs of the poor, may initiate a process of self-determination and self-reliance.

Up to now, Mani Tese has implemented—together with local partners—more than 2,300 development projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America in the areas of education, agriculture, infrastructures, support to cooperatives, human rights (particularly child rights, women rights, ethnic minority rights) governance, micro-credit, health, humanitarian aid, and integrated programs.

I EXIST—Say No to Modern Slavery is a program to make visible a modern phenomenon too often ignored. Slavery is the result of poverty, and it generates poverty. Mani Tese wants to contribute to a global mobilization, and to raise awareness of the manifestations of modern slavery through projects of international development cooperation, actions of awareness-raising, education to global citizenship, and engagement of civil society.
