"Marina" di Marco Di Nieri
Win the hyperrealistic artwork by the Italian artist Marco Di Nieri.
This artwork is acrylic on a wood panel with the dimensions of cm. 35x42.
Born in Sestri Levante (GE) in 1957, Marco expresses his art in the figurative, devoting himself in particular to landscape painting. Many are his solo and group exhibitions, where he has received great acclaim from audiences and critics. Perfection is present in all his works, with an incredible attention to detail. The scenario is depicted with meticulous care, which makes all his works a unique window to the world of nature around us. Blue skies dominate lights, and shadows and transparencies make great the unparalleled skills of Marco Di Nieri.
Through his paintings, he wishes to convey to the viewer the peace and ecstasy of particular moments of observation of the natural landscape.
@labora is a nonprofit association that helps young people who have been abandoned by the school system, who live with handicaps or who are socially disadvantaged enter into the working world. It collaborates with local service agencies to provide job training, support to families, company mentoring programs and motivational support to company staff.
To date, increasingly more families come asking for help for their children who are not able to find their way in institutional schools. These kids experience failure, fall into despair and don't want to grow up and accept responsibility. They isolate themselves and end up on the road to depression or addiction (drugs, alcohol).
@labora opens doors so that they might rediscover their own value through work experiences.
The idea was born in Wyscout, a technological services company for professional soccer clubs. Thanks to the sensitivity of the founder and his collaborators, many young people in dire straits have been given a second chance.
“Everyone (absolutely everyone!) is an asset."
Requests to participate are increasing and more companies are joining the initiative. Thanks to this association, several young people have begun to live again.
