The Prize

Irfan is a child who has a beautiful light in his eyes. He still has it, despite Covid19 taking his dad away from him last May. Irfan wants to continue going to school, even if her mother is really struggling, without the income that her husband brought and managing two other children. Care & Share wants to support the many Irfans who risk saying goodbye to their education after the loss of their father.

Light for the Future is the campaign set up by Care & Share to protect children and their families who have suffered the loss of their fathers, guaranteeing education for the children, help back to work for mothers and any necessary aid.

When you donate €300 you help a child to attend school for one year.

The Cause

We are an Italian non-governmental organization that has been operating in India for almost 30 years in support of vulnerable and marginalized children. Since 1991 over 20,000 children have been helped to enter school and today through distance support and the implementation of projects in the educational field, we ensure more than 3,500 children access to quality education and the possibility of continuing their studies right up to university (1,500 via the distance support program). Our aim is to provide support that enables children to realize their talents and aspirations before entering the world of work. School4Future is a program that was set up by Care & Share to allow talented boys and girls to finish their studies or access professional courses with personalized assistance, which supports them psychologically and gives them the opportunity to realize their potential. The program alsdo works with Mangoes Home thats houses 40 orphans. These children are now in education and can finally hope for a better future.
