Take home this red and blue Genoa CFC home shirt issued to Stefano Sturaro for the 119th "Derby della Lanterna" event.

For the match against Genoa, played on Saturday December 14 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa, U.C. Sampdoria took to the field in shirts featuring a special patch dedicated to Gaslini Hospital, the largest pediatric hospital in northern Italy, with its 22 buildings and over 2 thousand employees including medical and university staff, researchers, specialists and nurses.

The Serie A football teams played to support research on the treatment of rare genetic diseases, this season for the 30th Telethon promoted by the foundation.

Sturaro has signed the shirt on the back making it a truly unique collector's item.

Finding a cure is not the final destination but a new starting point. We have to make every possible effort to guarantee that successful forms of treatment discovered through the research funded by Telethon are then made available to all patients.

For this reason we also work to develop partnerships with public health care institutions and pharmaceutical companies, so that the results of our research will translate to treatment and medicine accessible to all patients worldwide.
