The Prize

The white shirt, sponsored by Lotto, worn by Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini for the Final Round of 16 of Wimbledon 2019, which he played against Roger Federer.

This was the second time he competed in the Wimbledon tournament. The No. 17 seed Matteo reached the last 16 at the London Major. In the first two rounds he beat Aljaž Bedene in four sets and Marcos Baghdatis in three games.

In the last sixteen he managed to win in five sets against Diego Schwartzman, after saving three match points in the fourth set, in the longest match he has ever played, becoming the fifth (and youngest) Italian tennis player to reach the second round at Wimbledon in the Open era.

The Swiss legend won the match 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.

Berrettini has signed the shirt, making it a unique item.

The shirt has been washed.
