The Prize

Win this shirt worn by the Belgian tennis champion David Goffin during the game against Rafael Nadal, played on April 22, 2017. This match decided the semi-finals of the prestigious 2017 ATP Monte-Carlo tennis tournament.

The Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, known as the Masters of Monte-Carlo, is a men's tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000, or the most important category after the one that contains the four Slam tournaments. The competition is held in the Principality of Monaco.

This shirt has not been washed and was signed by Goffin at the end of the game.

This game will be remembered for the contested decision of the chair umpire Cedric Mourier. Goffin had been playing an excellent game until he was up 3-2 and on game point when a long Nadal shot was overruled by Mourier. This already won point would have confirmed the break advantage and win by 4-2 for Goffin. The unforeseen umpire's decision instead ruined a match that was from then on led by the champion from Manacor. From that point on, the crowd at the Monte Carlo Country Club backed the Belgian and booed the Nadal match.
