The Cause

The BOF is an association based in Imola in the province of Bologna, a city known worldwide for its Autodrome where over the years it has hosted and still hosts international sporting events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix or concerts by well-known musical groups/singers worldwide.

The Association also wants to support the "NeverGiveUp Memorial Nicola Ussia". The project was born in 2015 from the family's desire to remember Nicola, who died in 2009 of a heart attack. The goal is to raise awareness about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. To do this, the association has organized an annual fundraiser. To date, with the money raised during the event, it has been possible to donate 7 defibrillators to some sports associations and educational institutions in the area.

Due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, the 6th NeverGiveUp Memorial Nicola Ussia could not take place in June. Despite this, thanks to the support of the BOF Association, a new initiative has been thought of: a charity auction of sports memorabilia whose proceeds will go towards the purchase of defibrillators.
