The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards are presented in an annual award show which is the British counterpart of the Oscars. BAFTA was founded in 1947 as The British Film Academy and, in 1958, the Academy merged with The Guild of Television Producers and Directors to form The Society of Film and Television, which eventually became The British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1976.

The Film Awards are the Academy’s highest film honours, rewarding the best work of any nationality seen on British cinema screens during the preceding year. The BAFTA Awards are regarded as the most influential "test run" to determine who will receive an Academy Award (Oscar). They normally take place two weeks prior to the Oscars. Directors and Hollywood movie stars fly into London to take part in this prestigious awards ceremony. Your package includes:

The Cause

The Mariana Opere nel Mondo Association began in February 2002 thanks to a few Venetian entrepreneurs convinced of the importance of returning the fortune they had received by helping those who have less.

The association obtained the Onlus title when it was created, and it is still a nonprofit, continuing in its path of helping people through acts of solidarity, assistance and charity.

The goal of this association is to rescue the populations around the world that suffer from hunger and underdevelopment—or who are in need of economic, moral and social support—and to give them hope for a life worth living.
