The Prize

Work of art by Giorgio De Chirico.

Lithograph on paper, ex. 53/99. Year 1973. Its dimensions are 70 x 50 cm.

De Chirico is one of the greatest Italian artists, who with his "metaphysical painting" was able to lay the foundations of Surrealism and an art that became a representation of the artist's unconscious—made of mystery, loneliness and disquieting muses that observe the viewer, despite their lack of eyes.

Certificate of authenticity provided by Alberto Caprini Printer.

Giorgio de Chirico dry stamp at the bottom left.

Bibliography: "Giorgio De Chirico, Catalogo dell'Opera Grafica", edited by E. Brandani, Edizioni Bora, no. 182.

Signature in the lower right corner.
