Dino Fiorini was born in 1942 in Fabbrico, where he lives today. Over the course of his artistic career he has received several awards, including the gold medal from the naif museum awarded to him in 1992 at the 25th national review of Italian naive in Luzzara, Italy.

A dreamlike and imaginative painter, the characters and objects he portrays belong to his world and he loves them deeply. He captures family, neighborhood, friends, home and childhood games. His is an enchanted world inhabited by the memories of the most beautiful years, the seasons of his childish fantasies, where his painting takes refuge every day in search of much longed-for tranquility. We find the characters of naive painters: love and nature, the simplicity of the elements, the joyfulness of color and the primitive flavor of the story.

The Cause

For the past thirty years, A.G.E.O.P. ONLUS RESEARCH has been welcoming and helping young oncological patients and their families.

It is for this reason that A.G.E.O.P has begun work on renovating the 4^th floor and building the 5^th floor of the Pediatric Oncology Ward at the Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Clinic in Bologna.

Accoglienza (Hospitality). We run 4 free-of-charge hospitality homes, with 63 beds for our young patients and their family. This helps reduce the recovery period and guarantees the parents’ constant presence.

Genitori (Parents) Daily presence. we organize designated areas for parents and we provide free transportation, grocery shopping and cleaning.

Erogazione (distribution of Research contracts) we support scientific research merged with the Public Health System. We sponsor grants for 2 doctors and for 5 of the 8 researchers in the Pediatric Oncology Lab. We also contribute to purchasing avant-garde equipment.

Organizzazione (Organize) we organize workshops and projects such as: cultural mediation, recreational and creative courses for our young patients and volunteer training.

Psicooncologia (Psycho-oncology) A.G.E.O.P. sponsors contracts for psychologists so that they may support the families and children during this very difficult oncological experience.
