This beautiful Engraving is after François Desnoyer's 1938 work, "La Toilette". The piece is signed by Desnoyer 'in the plate' (bottom of print, right corner), benefiting also from title and year of the original work, plus other corroborative details being catalogued in lead, verso the support.

- The piece is in excellent condition for its period, as it was professionally matted, and has been carefully archived.
About François Desnoyer
François Desnoyer (1894-1972) was a French painter and muralist known for his contributions to modern art, particularly during the 20th century. He was born on November 11, 1894, in Montauban, France, and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
