About this artwork:

Marco Cingolani was born in Como in 1961 and moved to Milan in 1978, where he lives and works.

The artist has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions, such as “Una scena emergente” (1991, Pecci Museum, Prato) and “Due o tre cose che so di loro” (1998, PAC, Milan) and some of the most prestigious public institutions, such as Palazzo Strozzi in Florence and the Promoter of Fine Arts in Turin, have dedicated a number of anthological exhibitions to him. 

In 2006, he joined the collective exhibition “Senza famiglia” at the Centre for Promotion of Fine Arts in Turin. He has been collaborating with Colombo gallery since 2000. In 2001, Giacinto di Pietrantonio invited him to take part in the collective exhibition “Ibrido” at the PAC in Milan, alongside Jan Fabre, Gilbert&George, Charles Avery, Damien Hirst, Piotr Uklanski, Patrick Tuttofuoco and other big international artists. 2012 was the year of the “Il Belpaese dell’arte“, at the GAMeC in Bergamo, again curated by Pietrantonio and Maria Cristina Rodeschini, together with Elmgreen&Dragset, Sislej Xhafa, Alighiero Boetti, Maurizio Cattelan, Alterazioni Video, and many other acclaimed artists.
