The Prize

Take home Luis Figo's limited-edition shirt complete with special box - produced specifically for "La Notte dei Re" ("Night of Kings") event. The Portuguese former winger for Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter has signed the shirt, making it a unique collector's item.

On June 2, 2019 the Central Court of the Foro Italico in Rome will be transformed into a soccer pitch where two teams headed by two champions will play two 30-minute halves. Kick-off is scheduled for 9 pm.

Royalty will be the theme of the evening with the two teams being announced by trumpeters and a royal title for each player.

Totti will head up the midfield and offense with four other former Roma players. In the midfield the squad will be able to rely on quality play from Damiano Tommasi and Simone Perrotta, along with the stalwart Luca Toni. The icing on the cake? Antonio Cassano.

Figo's opposing Inter squad will be relying on Julio Cesar in goal and Esteban Cambiasso in the midfield. Frenchman Robert Pires, World and European Champion with France in 1998 and 2000 respectively, will give greater depth and unpredictability to the team's offence. And finally, the Portuguese captain has selected Michel Salgado, his teammate in the Galacticos, for the defense.

The Cause

The Bambino Gesù Foundation Onlus is a nonprofit organization oriented towards promoting and supporting the development of healthcare workers in the hospital to help minor, Italian and foreign patients.

The foundation, founded by the generosity of Santo Padre Giovanni Paolo II in 2000, also represents the operative structure of the hospital for the collection of funds and for the awareness campaigns to support important objectives.
