Krist Novoselic is an American musician who is best known as the bassist and co-founder of the influential rock band Nirvana, which was active from 1987 to 1994.
He played bass on all of Nirvana's studio albums, including the critically acclaimed and commercially successful "Nevermind" (1991) and "In Utero" (1993).
After Nirvana disbanded following Cobain's death in 1994, Novoselic continued to pursue music, playing with a number of bands, including Sweet 75, Eyes Adrift, and Flipper.
