Baseball hand signed by Hollywood Movie Star Kiefer Sutherland.

Son of Hollywood legend Donald Sutherland, Kiefer has starred in many legendary movies including; Stand by Me, The Lost Boys, Flatliners, A Few Good Men, The Three Musketeers, A Time to Kill, & Phone Booth to name but a few.

Kiefer differs from the rest of Hollywood stars for two main reasons: the first is that he is able to cover a wide range of characters, thanks to his brilliant versatility. The second is, however, that of choosing difficult roles, often negative or even secondary, only out of a desire for challenge and ultimate gratification.

The Cause

St Joseph’s Hospice first opened in 1905 and since then has been caring for and supporting people affected by serious illness. We try to improve the quality of life for people with life-limiting conditions and help them live life to the full, to the very end. Supporting families and carers is also an important part of what we do. St Joseph's is an independent charity, and only receives 56% of funding from the NHS. For the rest, we are heavily reliant on fundraising efforts and the kind generosity of our community.
