The Prize

Race around the Mercedes World Track with David Coulthard in a Mercedes SLS-AMG with you as the passenger, followed by the opportunity to show David your driving skills as you take the wheel!

We have all seen Formula 1 drivers race round a circuit in cars built for incredible top speeds. This experience will give you the opportunity to not just watch, but to be in the car with Formula 1 legend David Coulthard as he drives around the track. You will witness first hand the incredible speed and handling of this supercar as it is tested to its limits by one of the best drivers in the world. Make sure you learn some tips from David, as you will be attempting to show off your own driving skills after. Let's see if you can beat the time that David sets for his quickest lap!

The Mercedes SLS-AMG epitomises high performance. From its AMG 6.3 litre V8 engine, the SLS AMG, a twenty-first century reincarnation of the legendary 300 SL, is guaranteed to thrill. With a top speed of 197 mph and 0 - 62 in just 3.8 seconds, be prepared to experience the drive of your life.

This incredible experience will take place on the 9th of January 2015 at Mercedes-Benz World, a facility at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey. The Brooklands race track was the brainchild of Hugh F. Locke King, and was the first purpose-built banked motor race circuit in the world. The auction package does not include travel or accommodation.

How it works: the winning bidder will be notified via email and will receive information on the event ASAP after the auction has been closed. Need more information? Write to enquiries@charitystars.com or call us on 0203 301 5800.
