DESCRIPTION OF ARTWORK:

A wardrobe is suspended in the sky, surrounded by soft white clouds, supported by ropes whose beginning or end cannot be seen. The wardrobe has no back: itlooks like a window in the sky. Inside there are hangers: on some of them there are clothes, blown by the wind. The open doors are
mirrored, reflecting fragments of sky and clothes. In the foreground, a black hanger is about to slip off the rope it was on. In this painting I tried to represent my vision of life through everyday objects: we are the wardrobe, the mirrors are our conscience, the sky and the clouds are time and space, the ropes are the bonds that we make with others and that anchor us to reality, the hangers and the clothes are our memories, the wind is the news and the experiences that change us and change the world we live in.
