Ederson Santana de Moraes, known simply as Ederson, is a Brazilian footballer, goalkeeper for Manchester City and the Brazilian national team. He took his first steps in the youth sectors of Sao Paulo and Benfica. In the 2011/12 season he played for Ribeirão, moving to Rio Ave the following year. After three seasons he returned to Benfica, where in two seasons he won two championships and a Portuguese Cup, before moving to Manchester City. With the Citizens he won five English championships, two FA Cups, four English League Cups, two Community Shields, a Champions League and a UEFA Super Cup. With the senior national team since 2017, he won the 2019 Copa América with Brazil.
