Gustavo Raúl Gómez Portillo (born 6 May 1993 in San Ignacio) is a Paraguayan footballer who plays as a defender for Palmeiras and the Paraguayan national team, of which he is captain. Raised in Libertad, he made his debut in 2011. After winning three Paraguayan championships, in 2014 he moved to Lanus, where he won an Argentine championship and a Super Cup. 2016 marked his move to AC Milan, where he managed to win an Italian Super Cup before being sold to Palmeiras in 2018. In Brazil he won two Championships, a Brazilian Cup and a Super Cup, two Libertadores and a Recopa Sudamericana. He made 66 appearances and scored 4 goals for the Paraguayan national team.
