"Gli scarabocchi di Maicol e Mirco"

Maicol & Mirco (Michael Rocchetti) is known for Gli Scarabocchi di Maicol & Mirco (The Scribbles of Maicol & Mirco), a daily tragedy comic published on the Facebook page of the same name (with more than 150,000 followers).

He is an author for Linus, Smemoranda, XL La Repubblica, Rolling Stone Magazine, Vice Magazine, G Baby and Sergio Bonelli Editore.

He won the "Nuove Strade" award at Comicon 2005 in Naples.

He has delighted children with RED BALL AND BLUE BALL - FRIENDSHIP ALL ROUND (Best Comic for children and teenagers at the Treviso Comic Book Festival 2016 and XL Prize for Best Comic at Comicon 2017) and adults with THE DADDY OF GOD, both released BAO Publishing.

In 2009 for Coconino Press he published HANCHI PINCHI E PANCHI (XL PRIZE for Best Comic at Comicon 2010) and in 2018 GLI ARCANOIDI.

For the Royal Palace of Caserta and Mibac he created the comic book GUL E IL CUORE DELLE COSE, exhibiting the originals in the palace itself (the first ever comic book exhibition in the history of this museum center). Also in 2018 he created HANCHI AND THE SENSITIVE THIEF, an album commissioned by MIbac for the National Gallery of the Marche in Urbino.

In October 2018 with the volume ARGH the Opera Omnia series of Gli Scarabocchi by Maicol & Mirco was inaugurated, a collection designed specifically for our author.

In 2019 he released RED BALL AND BLUE BALL STILL ROLL (BAO Publishing), L'ARCANOIDE (Coconino Press) and SOB (BAO Publishing).

He is a professor of comic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in L'Aquila.
