Take home this Jeff Hamilton Jacket made for Micheal Jordan for the 1997 McDonald's Open Tournament Paris.

This limited-edition item was created for His Airness by renowned designer Jeff Hamilton for the 1997 McDonald's Championship played at the Palais Omnisports in Paris-Bercy from October 16 to 18, 1997.

The McDonald's Championship was a basketball tournament sponsored by McDonald's that was created by the FIBA and NBA managers in 1986 with the aim of promoting basketball across the world to bring together American and European players.

In 1997, Phil Jackson's Chicago Bulls arrived in Paris. The stars paraded past the Eiffel Tower, big names from Scottie Pippen to Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman and Toni Kukoč. Then came the hotly anticipated Micheal Jordan.

On October 18, 1997 the Chicago Bulls beat Olympiacos BC 104 to 78, winning the championship. Michael Jordan was named MVP of the eighth edition of the McDonald's Championship.

This collector's item was given coach Dušan Ivković's team at the October 18 match. A truly unique jacket that was produced in a very limited edition exclusively for the 1997 McDonald's Championship.

Jeff Hamilton is a famous American designer. He started out creating leather jackets that looked nothing like the comparatively drab things worn by pilots, bikers, and punks. His collection featured impossibly bright colors and oversized graphics. He quickly established himself as a go-to designer for NBA players, including the greatest one of all time: Micheal Jordan.

The kind of mass-produced championship gear that leagues roll out every spring had always been uninspired. Hamilton tried to reboot the concept, and in the process created pro athletes’ second most desired celebratory keepsakes after the championship ring. Unlike the first, though, the winners received the jackets immediately.

The first question from Michael, Hamilton remembered, was "Where’s my jacket?". “Right here,” Hamilton replied, handing over a coat emblazoned with a massive 3-D Bulls logo, the Chicago skyline, and six Larry O’Brien Trophies—one for each of Jordan’s NBA titles.

In the Netflix documentary "The Last Dance" (episode 4, minute 3.30) Micheal Jordan wears the same style of jacket on January 22, 1998. Another of the rare pieces created by Jeff Hamilton.
