Jason Voorhees is a fictional character, starring in ten of the twelve episodes of the Friday the 13th saga, including a remake / reboot and a crossover with the Nightmare series (Freddy vs. Jason).
Initially conceived as a victim, he was transformed by the director of the first two sequels, Steve Miner (former executive producer of the first), into one of the greatest icons in the history of horror cinema.
