The Prize

A pair of football shirts signed to commemorate Brighton & Hove Albion’s pre-season friendly with Atlético de Madrid.

The game took place at the American Express Community Stadium prior to the Seagulls debut season in the Premier League.

The match finished 3-2 to Atlético, with Brighton’s goals coming from Steve Sidwell and Pascal Gross. Nicolas Gaitan, Fernando Torres and Lucas Hernandez were on target for Atlético.

These shirts were not worn during the game but were signed by a selection of players from both matchday squads.

They have been professionally framed together and are a fantastic and rare piece of Albion memorabilia.

This item cannot be posted and must be collected from the American Express Community Stadium.

The Cause

Albion in the Community (AITC) is the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.

It uses the power of football and the reach of the club to engage and inspire local people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

In the last 12 months alone the charity has engaged with more than 40,000 people and worked with 148 local schools. AITC is also the largest provider of inclusive football sessions for people with disabilities in the area.
