The photo was signed especially for History Life Onlus during a private signing session in support of the charity's 2019/2020 fundraising campaigns.

Joseph James Dante Jr. is an American film director, producer, editor and actor. His films—notably Gremlins(1984)—often mix fantastical storylines with comedic elements.

Dante's films also include Piranha (1978), The Howling (1981), Explorers (1985), Innerspace (1987), The 'Burbs (1989), Gremlins 2: The New Batch(1990), Matinee (1993), Small Soldiers (1998), and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003). His work for television and cable includes immigration satire The Second Civil War (1997) and episodes of anthology series Masters of Horror ("Homecoming" and "The Screwfly Solution") and Amazing Stories, as well as Hawaii Five-0.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.
 
Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.
 
At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.
 
We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
