Florence Unveiled - a 3-hour Private Guided Tour for four people.
A small city of moneylenders and cloth makers that turned into a great European power - laying the foundations for the Italian language, championing the rise of the Renaissance art movement and giving to the world the explorer who gave the Americas their name. This wonder is called Florence.
Discover the Tuscan capital with our professional guide. Your scenic stroll through the city center, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, begins in Piazza del Duomo. Here you can stop for a moment in front of the grand Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and admire Brunelleschi's stunning Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistry of St. John – where the poet Dante Alighieri was christened.
Continue to Piazza della Signoria, the center of political life in Florence since the 14th century, a veritable open-air gallery of sculptures. Make sure you also catch a glimpse of Palazzo Vecchio, overlooking the square, which once housed the city council and is today the city hall.
Head towards the river and cross Ponte Vecchio, the bridge built in 1345 which survived the German attacks during WWII, today famous for its goldsmith’s and jeweler’s shops.
