The Prize

Ferrari 1990 641 race-used pistons used by Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost during the 1990 Formula 1 season.

The 641 Ferrari is regarded as one of the most iconic Formula 1 cars of all time, winning Ferrari five races and very nearly Alain Prost the world championship before his infamous collision with Ayrton Senna at Suzuka.

The set contains three race-used valves bounded into leather with a high quality wooden frame. The Ferrari logo is burned into the leather as is the makers hallmark on the rear, this is a high quality piece of handmade workmanship. The set can be displayed vertically or horizontally with two set of mounting holes.

Ferrari F1 parts are increasingly rare, especially the older ones. This set was only ever available in the Maranello shop in very small numbers or sometimes gifted to VIPs and celebrity guests of Ferrari.
