The Prize

Take home this original Schuberth RF1 visor used by Fernando Alonso during the 2011 Formula One season when he occasionally used the yellow visor stripe on his visor. It has the mirror effect (purple-blue) that was custom made for Alonso—which was never available to anybody else except him. The display case is framed and ready to hang on the wall.

This is a nice piece of Ferrari Formula One history. Alonso competed for Ferrari between 2010-2014, winning 11 races for Ferrari and losing the championship in the final race twice, eventually finishing runner-up twice in 2010 and 2012.

The Cause

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. Thousands of children are living across the UK with serious or exceptional health needs. Many spend months, even years in hospital simply because there is no support enabling them to leave.

Through a nationwide network of children’s nurses, home and garden projects and family support services, WellChild helps get these children and young people safely home from hospital more quickly.

With the support of the charity’s Patron Prince Harry, WellChild supports and empowers families to care for their children safely at home. Its aim is to give these children and young people the best possible chance to thrive – at home, together with their families.
