The Prize

All drivers have a car that they dream of driving and for many the ultimate dream is to drive a Formula 1 racing car. That dream can now be fulfilled by driving a real F1 car that raced in the F1 World Championship. The Formula 1 driving experience offers drivers the opportunity to drive an ex-Grand Prix car with a 0-60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph, the ultimate present for a Formula One fan.

Your action packed day begins with a comprehensive safety briefing, then with the formalities out of the way it's off to the track where your instructor – a professional racing driver - will show you the lines in a sports saloon. It's then time to put what you've learned into practice as you get behind the wheel of the saloon for 10 laps with driving analysis from your instructor.

With the lines learnt and the braking points nailed the horsepower increases dramatically with six miles in the luxurious cockpit of the stunning Aston Martin, shortly followed by another six miles in the Fabulous Ferrari 360 Modena, a truly iconic supercar that comes to life on the track. These two supercars leave the sports saloon a distant memory.

Now the supercar drives are over it's time for you and your instructor to part as you get behind the wheel of a formula ford single seater for ten laps of the circuit behind a pace car driven by a professional race driver. This is followed by a further seven unpaced laps in the Formula Ford, before it's time to take off the helmet, enjoy a delicious lunch and speculate on how far you've progressed with your Formula 1 driving experience.

With lunch over it's time to move up to a Ralt RT3/RT32 Formula 3 car. With 165 bhp, a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 150 mph, the Formula 3 experience really gives you a taste of what it's like to drive a real racing car.

The next ten miles you drive will be the drive of your life, behind the wheel of either the 1996 Italian Forti-Corse FG03 (as driven by Luca Badoer), or the 1994 Arrows FA14 (as driven by Aguri Suzuki). These 600 bhp machines redefine notions of speed and road handling and provide a huge adrenaline rush. giving you the chance to finally realise your dream, driving a REAL Formula One car.

Experience Format

08:30am - Arrive at circuit for morning reception with your Event Coordinator and registration in a suite

Sports Car familiarization session - 5 laps, instructor driving.
10 Laps driving analysis with a pro-racing driver.
6 miles driving an Aston Martin.
6 miles driving a Ferrari 360 Modena.
Comprehensive briefing on safety and high-speed techniques.
Session 1 - Formula Ford Experience - 10 laps under pace car.
Session 2 - Formula Ford Experience - 7 laps, no pace car.
12:00pm - Lunch served.
12:45pm - Afternoon activities commence.
Formula 3 Experience - 10 laps, no pace car.
Formula 1 Experience - 10 mind blowing laps in the awesome F1 Car, no pace car.
4:00pm - Afternoon Tea & Certificate presentation. Photo and DVD Included, each driver will receive a photo of themselves in the F1 car along with a DVD of them driving the car.

Driving Licence: A full driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 36 months and needs to be produced on the day of your experience.

The voucher(s) will be valid for 2 years, in selected week day dates once a month from April to October.

The experience will take place in UK only. Hotel Accommodation, flights and transport to the track are not included.

The voucher is valid for one person. It's possible to buy a second voucher at the end of this auction to the same closing price.

This auction has been made available by a private seller. 10% of the total auction price will be donated to Small Steps Project.

The Cause

Small Steps Project is a children’s charity dealing with the most devastating humanitarian consequence of the global waste problem: child waste pickers.

All over the world thousands of children survive by collecting and recycling rubbish on landfill sites. Deprived of an education, they work when they should be at school and put their lives at risk on a daily basis. Work on the dumps is dirty and dangerous. As well as respiratory and skin diseases, cuts and lacerations to their hands and feet are commonplace and risk of infection is extremely high in the toxic environment.

Small Steps Project provides shoes to protect their feet and support to enable them to take small steps off the dump sites, out of poverty and into education.

To date, Small Steps Project has provided shoes and aid to over 20,000 children thanks to the money raised from shoes, all donated and signed by some of the most famous celebrities in the world.
