Sanjeshka. The audio is recorded on a blockchain platform, which uses token technology to provide a unique digital code.

Audio duration: 60 min.

Sanjeshka, the artistic name of Sanja Pupovac, was born in Zadar, ex - Yugoslavija, in 1983. She is a Serbian artist who lives and works in Milan. She graduated from the Politecnico di Milano where she currently teaches Arts and Design. She began her career in the field of design, progressively moving towards artistic practice. The artist has recently completed her first feature film "INTERNET", consisting almost entirely of chat.

"Inspired by a pathological landscape of social unrest, the artist contextualizes her work between old Europe and new technologies. The themes underlying her work are the intimacy of the Internet, the poetry and language of millennials, humor as a mirror and synthesizer, the excess of positivity, the art of the death of art, the mise-en-scène and cemeteries. Her audio and video works use the techniques of ASMR*, with the aim of "treating" and "empathizing" through intellectual pleasure (*in Italian RAMS - Autonomous Response of the Sensory Meridian, also known as cerebral caresses, cerebral tingling, emotional orgasms of the brain").

This artwork is part of the Viva la Vulva by Nuvenia project: a collective exhibition by international artists that aims to break down taboos linked to the female body in conjunction with an online charity auction in favor of the Italian Red Cross. The works will be on display at Six Gallery in Milan from 9 to 11 October.

"We are born free from taboos. We live in a society that forces them upon us, feeding stereotypes. Talking about them helps to break them down and learn to accept each other: because we are all perfect precisely because we are different".
