Digital painting on arches paper, watercolor 42 x 57 cm

Unique piece

This artwork was created using a digital painting technique; it is a unique copy on fine paper.

Federico Lombardo has exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Rome Quadriennale, the Durini Foundation, just to name a few.
This contemporary impressionist showcases almost dystopian and at times distressing androgynous natures in his digital portraits; for this reason his works are packed with life and depth.
He is an artist to collect and admire for the profound humanism of his works.
"In this parallel journey, Lombardo dialogues with the Renaissance and the Baroque, he pursues Guido Reni, Caravaggio, Giorgione and Ribera, reconstructing faces to make them emerge from the darkness of nothingness; he gives meaning to the uninterrupted flow of a pictorial act that, despite falls into oblivion and negations, is reborn and blooms perpetually from the depths of the human soul." Lorenzo Canova

The artwork is unframed and will be shipped in a special cardboard tube.
