Morgan De Sanctis (Guardiagrele, March 26, 1977) is a sports manager and Italian former footballer who played as goalkeeper, sporting director of Salernitana. With the Italian national team he was European runner-up in the 2012 European Football Championship. A product of the Pescara youth team, he stayed with the club for three seasons from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, at the age of 20, he was bought by Juventus for 1, 5 billion lire and two years later he moved to Udinese where he won the Intertoto Cup in 2000. After some time at Sevilla and Galatasaray, in 2009 he was bought outright by Napoli. After four years there he decided to move to the capital to play for Roma, where he stayed for three seasons. He ended his career at Monaco in the 2016-17 season.
