David Robinson is an American former professional basketball player who spent his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs.
He is widely considered one of the greatest centers of all time and was known for his skill, athleticism, and defensive abilities. He won the NBA MVP award in 1995 and was named to the NBA All-Star team 10 times. He also was named to the All-NBA First Team twice and the All-NBA Second Team four times.
He led the Spurs to two NBA championships in 1999 and 2003, and was also a member of the 1992 United States Olympic "Dream Team" that won the gold medal.
