Discover Florence on the trail of Dante with a 3-hour private guided tour for four people.

Walk down Florentine alleys and through Medieval squares accompanied by Dante’s words from the Divine Comedy.

Just as Dante was guided by Virgilio, you will be guided a professional art historian who will reveal many places cited in the world-famous masterpiece penned in the 1200s by the Florentine poet.

You will visit the baptistery in which he was baptized, the tomb of the friend he meets in Inferno in a rain of fire, the house belonging to his coward enemies and the palace belonging to his writer friend Cavalcanti. You will re-live Florentine life of the 1200s through Dante’s eyes, a rich city inhabited by knights and mistresses, craftsmen and tradesmen. A city consumed by internal conflicts, particularly between rich families and the clergy, and wars with the surrounding towns. A city that believed the end was near.

This experience would not be complete without a visit to the marble monument to Dante situated in Santa Croce Square.
