Born in Palermo in 1980, Salvatore Benintende, in art Tvboy, lived in Milan where in 1996 he became part of the Italian and international street art scene, immediately becoming one of the most important members. 

After studying painting and illustration in the University of Bilbao, he graduated in Milan in “Industrial Design”.

He has lived in Barcellona since 2005, where he has his own studio and a placement as a professor of design.

He has exhibited his pieces in a number of international galleries and museums, including the Superstudio Più in Milan in 2010, with the publication of the Skira catalogue, and was invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in the "Italians in the World" pavilion in the Venice Biennial 2011 and the official parallel "Back 2 Back" event of the Venice Biennial 2013. 

Moreover, he has exhibited and participated in Iguapop Gallery in Barcellona in 2007, at the Pavilion of Contemporary Art in Milan in 2007, at the Auditorium Park of Music in Rome in 2008, at the We Love Asbaek Gallery in Copenhagen in 2008, at the Progr Art Space in Switzerland, in Bern, in 2008, at the Aishiti Art Festival in Lebanon in Beirut in 2008 and at the History Museum in Saragozza in 2006.

Not to mention, urban art events in Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Cuba and Lebanon. 
He has carried out commissioned projects for prestigious Italian and international brands such as Fiat, Seven, La Rinascente, Smart, Gioco del Lotto, Nescafé and more.
In 2008 his character TvBoy became a brand name with a number of collections in the fashion and accessories sectors.
