Taking the form of a hatstand and turning it into an object that works as a lamp - this is the idea behind Chapo, the table lamp that was created by the collaboration between Flos and genius French designer Philippe Starck.

Borsalino, a well-known Made in Italy fashion brand, contributed a few models for the creation of these unusual lampshades, but any hat can be used depending on personal taste and the light diffusion required.

The result? A designer lamp that is both functional and pleasantly interactive.

Valid both as a decorative object as well as an actual hatstand, this abat jour is of simple but extravagant design that allows you to use any kind of hat as a lampshade through which to spread the LED used for illumination.

The Cause
