The Prize

Any true cartoon lover cannot miss this fantastic occasion. Win a Diabolik-themed commission created by Giuseppe Palumbo!

The winner of this auction will be able to propose a scene of the story that they would like to have drawn by Palumbo. What situation would you like to see Diabolik and Eva Kant involved in? Would they be busy committing a robbery at the Vatican or the Louvre? Would they be bringing a work of art by Leonardo DaVinci back to Italy?

The only limit is your imagination. You will be able to decide which situation to have the characters from the series involved in, created on two 24 x 33 cm drawing boards. It will take approximately a month for the commission to be completed (from the time the subject to be drawn is communicated to the artist).

But that's not all. Should the story be deemed interesting and publishable by the unquestionable judgement of the director of Diabolik, Mario Gomboli, the short story may find its way into a paper or online publication. Clearly, stories that are detrimental in terms of morality, religion, sexuality, or that are racist, violent or not in line with the Diabolik style canon and the specific narratives will not be taken into consideration or created.

The Cause

CEFA, the seed of solidarity, is a Non-Government Organization which has been working for 40 years to fight hunger and poverty.

Our dream is to enhance everyone in the world as a development leader, both from an economic point of view and as a person, with the aim of developing him as a hero of democracy and peace.

Cefa was founded by Giovanni Bersani working together with a group of cooperative farmers from Bologna. We are recognized by the Foreign Affair Ministry, EU and ONU.

CEFA is engaged in sustainable development programs of rural areas, through measures targeting agricultural, livestock breeding, energy and environmental protection, defense and water recovery. These programs are associated with specific activities of social animation, training, health and hygiene education.

CEFA gives priority to achieving food self-sufficiency and to basic needs of the population. Each project tries to join together directly productive interventions with actions aimed at cultural and social growth, assigning particular importance to organizational skills with a democratic sense of the communities involved.

In the last ten years, CEFA has acquired significant experience in social projects such as assistance to children, to families in need, to young people and women in situations of economic insecurity, and is facing the issue of future sustainability of the interventions, particularly through the training of local associations and staff involved in the management of services.
