The Prize

Enjoy dinner for two at All'Oro Restaurant in Rome, Italy.

The 5-course tasting menu includes:

- Salted cod and potato “Tiramisù” with Cinta Senese lard
- Carbonara
- Mascarpone Raviolini with Duck Ragout and red wine sauce
- “Rocher” Oxtail Stew with Celary Jelly
- Tiramisù All’Oro

All’Oro Restaurant has always been characterized by its traditional and contemporary cooking philosophy, a creative kitchen rooted in the traditional tastes where all great classics of the Italian cuisine are re- interpreted in a contemporary way by the chef. That’s the reason why Riccardo Di Giacinto always says “I usually step back to move forward”, that means one step back to tradition.

Every product is strictly home-made: bread, breadsticks, pasta and pastries are created using modern techniques while respecting the true “tastes” of the Italian tradition.

Please note: Bevarages not included. The dinner must be redeemed within six months of auction closing.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
