Räikkönen made his Formula One debut in 2001 with the Sauber team. His talent quickly caught the attention of the racing world, and he moved to McLaren in 2002. He achieved his greatest success during his time with Scuderia Ferrari, where he won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 2007. 

Räikkönen's racing style is characterized by his raw speed, natural talent, and calm demeanour under pressure. He gained a reputation as an exceptional driver, often referred to as the "Iceman" due to his cool and unflappable attitude on and off the track.
