Iker Casillas Fernández is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was world champion in 2010 and European champion in 2008 and 2012 with the Spanish national team. Considered one of the best goalkeepers of all time, he mainly played for Real Madrid, where he stayed for 16 years and won five championships, two Copa del Rey, four Spanish Super Cups, three UEFA Champions Leagues, two Super Cups UEFA, two Intercontinental Cups and a FIFA Club World Cup. With Porto he won two Portuguese championships, a Portuguese Cup and a Portuguese Super Cup. Individually, he has been nominated five times for the IFFHS goalkeeper of the year and occupies 2nd place, behind Buffon, in the IFFHS rankings of the strongest goalkeepers of the decade 2000-2010 and of the 21st century.
