The Prize

Artwork by the Italian artist Pier Toffoletti.

This piece is a limited edition of only 47 copies and is signed by the artist on the front and the back. It was created in digital serigraphy on canvas.

The passion of Pier Toffoletti for painting began in his youth and led him to become a great artist. He has been a part of many international exhibitions, including those held in Stockholm, Seoul, Amsterdam and Singapore in 2015 and London and Hong Kong in 2016. In June of 2015, he exhibited in Milan in Palazzo dei Giureconsulti within the EXPO MILAN circuit. In 2014, his work was at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lucca. In 2012, he exhibited at Art Basel Miami, and in 2011 at the 54th Venice Biennale.

He has participated in more than 200 solo and group exhibitions, including the 2008 exhibition at the Correr Museum in Venice, the Senate Palace in Milan and OPEN XI at the Venice Lido. In 2004, he exhibited in Miami at the Consulate of Italy in Coral Gables and the Art Center in Lincoln Road. He's had numerous shows in important art fairs—including Madrid, New York, Yokohama, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Innsbruck and Strasbourg. Many of his works are in private collections and public institutions in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Japan, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United States of America and so on.

The Cause

The recently founded Fondazione Silvana e Bruno seeks to give a future, through an established organization, to the community service that Silvana and Bruno Mastrotto have done for several years.

The foundation's first project, Parkinson Cafe, helps those suffering from Parkinson's disease. It is the first example of many to follow of how the foundation seeks to help improve the conditions of those struggling and to give a tangible source of help to the community.

Its mission is to help create a social network that builds awareness, education and understanding about debilitating diseases, and encourages community involvement through training volunteers.
