The body suit was issued to the cyclist, a suit respecting the aerodynamics of sporting performance.
Davide Rebellin's sporting career was full of successes, making him among the most acclaimed riders in Italian cycling in recent years. A Classics specialist, he boasts an enviable record of achievements.
The Italian cyclist made it to victory three in the Freccia Vallone, in the years 2004, 2007 and 2009, and in 2004 he added a Liège-Bastogne-Liege to his record of triumphs. In addition, he also clinched victory in the important Amstel Gold Race. In Spain he won the Clásica de San Sebastián.
He also stood out in the general classification at the Tirreno Adriatico and at the Paris-Nice.
Davide Rebellin, at the age of 51, having just said farewell to professional cycling with a thirty-year career to his name, lost his life due to a road accident while on his bicycle.
