The Cause

Bioforest is an association originated from the will to foster a productive culture and raise the awareness of the environment, as well as concretely contributing to restore and preserve the natural resources. With this in mind, it aims at making the industry aware of the environmental problems.

The association's primary goal is grouping together all those who want to commit themselves to rehabilitate and rebuild the destroyed and consumed forest ecosystems, both in Italy and worldwide, by financing reforestation projects in compliance with the original natural ecosystems.

The designers Stefano Citi, Maurizio Lai, Francesco Librizzi, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Philippe Nigro, Lorenzo Palmeri, Federico Peri and Ilkka Suppanen challenged people to imagine a fragile, transparent and precious object like the glass as the wishes keeper for Another World. A world that should be more sustainable for the future of the Planet.

Each artwork is unique and impossible to reproduce, artisanally made by the artist and glassblower Massimo Lunardon.
