The Prize

Extremely rare original 2003 poster from the Blur concert held at the Vox Club in Modena, Italy. The poster features the famous Banksy "Think Tank" mural, making it a truly valuable collector's item.

This artwork was especially created by Banksy for Blur and is particularly rare given that the artist has always turned down commercial work. This is how the artist defended his choice:

"I've done a few things to pay the bills, and I did the Blur album. It was a good record and [the commission was] quite a lot of money. I think that's a really important distinction to make. If it's something you actually believe in, doing something commercial doesn't turn it to shit just because it's commercial. Otherwise you've got to be a socialist rejecting capitalism altogether, because the idea that you can marry a quality product with a quality visual and be a part of that even though it's capitalistic is sometimes a contradiction you can't live with. But sometimes it's pretty symbiotic, like the Blur situation."

The poster displays signs of wear but is protected behind a stunning frame (Dimensions 108 cm x 77 cm).

The small defects in no way affect the value of this poster.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
