About Pierre Bonnard
Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947) was a French painter and printmaker, known for his contributions to Post-Impressionism and his association with the Nabis group, a circle of avant-garde artists in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born on October 3, 1867, in Fontenay-aux-Roses, France, and grew up in a suburb of Paris.
