Wooden Christmas tree made by NOA Design.

NOA is 1.10 m high and consists of 9 parts. String Christmas lights inside to create a surprising and evocative atmosphere for the perfect Christmas tree. Paint it, decorate it and personalize it to make it even more special.

It's a unique creation in its kind—a complementary design object, with a patent that declares its originality and passion that dwells in every fiber of its wood.

NOA is 100% reclaimed wood from fir boards recovered throughout Italy. Centuries-old mountain cottages, abandoned tables, demolished attics—each piece of NOA wood comes with its own story and is an ecological alternative to the traditional wood trade.

NOA is easy to build. It comes in the form of a compact box, easy to move and store anywhere. Inside, it contains all its parts to build it; just place each section one above the other, from the largest to the smallest in an intuitive and entertaining game of interlocking boards.

DesignCircus supports this charitable initiative in favor of Amo La Vita Onlus.

NOA Design will be present with its products at the 2017 DesignCircus X-Mas Edition Show on November 25 and 26 at Atelier Corso Como 5 in Milan, Italy.

The Cause

Founded in 1980, AMO lavita ONLUS is composed of the medical and nursing staff of the Operative Unit of Oncology of Milan’s San Carlo Borromeo Hospital as well as volunteers. Supporting the sick and their families is the aim of the association.

The association works to welcome oncological patients, help patients suffering from alopecia due to chemotherapy and support them in choosing a wig, give bed-ridden patients emotional support from specialized professional counselors, conduct scientific research projects on tumors, organize conferences to spread knowledge concerning oncologic disease, help transfer patients who live at home and who have economic difficulties getting from their home to the hospital and back, provide urgent tests directly at the patients’ houses, and help empower senior patients dismissed by the San Carlo Hospital, allowing them to access treatments.
