These Sylvester Stallone boxing boots are an exact replica of the pair used in the famous film Rocky.
Rocky is a 1976 film directed by John G. Avildsen.
Sylvester Stallone, little-known actor at the time, wrote and played the lead role in the film that marked his rise to Hollywood stardom. The film won three Oscars, including Best Film and Best Director. Thanks to Rocky, Stallone is the third person, along with Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles, to have received Oscars nominationsin both the script writer and actor categories for the same film.
These boots were part of a supply that Santoni gave to Sylvester Stallone while he was shooting the film. Stallone later gave them to Monty Shadow, a great friend and long-time Laureus ambassador. The boots come compete with a certificate of authenticity provided by Sylvester Stallone.
