The Prize

This is a unique opportunity to win a race sponsorship at Chelmsford City Racecourse, including hospitality, for up to four people at one of its 50+ race meetings this year.
The winning bidder will be race sponsor for one of the races on the race card, giving them the opportunity to name the race, within reason. The options are numerous and a great opportunity to have some fun.

How about:
- The XYZ Bank Handicap Stakes
- The NSPCC Childline Conditions Stakes
- The Andy Briggs Birthday Maiden handicap

You and your guests will be entertained with a four-course meal in our principle restaurant, or you can opt for our carvery if you prefer.
The winner will get to choose the best turned-out horse in your sponsored race; watch the race, and then present the prize to the winning owner and connections. All whilst enjoying a nice glass of Champagne, or two, in the Winning Connections Box.

Later in 2022 Chelmsford City will become the first racecourse in Europe to offer floodlit turf racing, alongside its artificial surface races; be part of this unique experience.

All young people should feel safe, cared for, and listened to. But we know, for children who desperately need help, it’s often difficult to speak out.

Every day of the year, even Christmas Day, our unique Childline service – the world’s first ever helpline for young people – is here to help those young people find their voice, whatever their worry, online and on the phone.

Today, two children a minute contact Childline.

Some are going through the toughest times of their lives. They talk to us about problems they often feel they can’t talk to anyone else about.

Fortunately, many children found the courage to speak to us last year and get the help they need so they can take back control.

But this number puts a great strain on our services. It’s only with the support of people like you that Childline can continue to be there for the children who desperately need us so that they can look to the next day with hope and the knowledge that someone is on their side.
